The Advisory Committee consists of individuals with unique distinction who have supported the activities of the EED. These include past Chairs of the EED who express a desire to participate in the EED's activities, past presidents, and past vice presidents of ASME. The Advisory Committee is normally chaired by the immediate past chair of the EED. The Advisory Committee shall recommend new members to the Executive Committee. Nominations and recommendations shall be provided to the Executive Committee prior to the 1st quarter meeting of the Executive Committee. The Committee shall be responsible for carrying out all work assigned to it by the Executive Committee, but may also offer advice on unassigned matters. The duties of the Advisory Committee are to assist, advise, and counsel the Executive Committee in the conduct of the EED activities.
