The General Committee is composed of the members of the Executive Committee, the Advisory Committee, and the Chairs of the various administrative and technical Committees. The General Committee receives copies of the minutes of each meeting of Executive Committee; discusses EED activities; helps develop operating and program policies; and makes recommendations to the Executive and other committees concerning any aspect of EED operations. One of the meetings of the EED Executive Committee shall also be the meeting of the General Committee. There shall be at least one meeting of the General Committee each year at such times and in such places as are deemed appropriate. Ordinarily, a majority of votes of the General Committee membership will decide issues; however, at the Chair's discretion, any issue may be decided by a majority vote of the Executive Committee members present if a quorum of the Executive Committee can be constituted.
