K-20 Computational Heat Transfer
| | | Mission The objectives of the Committee for Computational Heat Transfer are:
- To identify and stimulate research in the area of computational heat transfer,
summarize and report the latest advances and developments in areas associated with computational hardware, computer platforms, and numerical techniques in heat transfer,
- To provide a forum for discussion of new algorithms and applications of numerical heat transfer used in industry, and
- To coordinate and cooperate with other K-committees and ASME divisions in identifying topics of mutual interest related to numerical techniques in heat transfer
The committee serves as a broad-based committee, sponsoring new and developing areas of member interest, as well as sponsoring conventional topics related to well known and widely used numerical techniques and computer systems.
