The underlying goal of the Aerospace Division is to develop its members. There are many benefits available to you through active participation in Division activities :
  • Broaden your technical skills and keep pace with the latest technology in Aerospace engineering to grow in career and professional status
  • Meet and interact with aerospace leaders at local, regional and national meetings
  • Have opportunities to make contributions to the profession by participation in technical symposia as organizers and chairmen
  • Demonstrate your professional knowledge by writing and presenting technical papers
  • Broaden your management capability by participating on committees and working groups to plan and carry out the Aerospace Division program
  • Achieve increased professional status with your employer and industry peers

As an Aerospace Division member, you automatically receive the division newsletter. You will also be included in all mailings to members who have an interest in Aerospace (e.g., a "Call for Papers," specific conference announcements, etc.).

Joining is simple!
If you are not an ASME member and would like to join the Society, Click here for information on membership benefits and an on-line application form. When filling out the membership application form, make sure to indicate " Aerospace Division" as your first choice for Technical Division interest.


If you presently are a member of ASME, but wish to designate the Aerospace Division as your primary Division, Click here to change your "Technical Interest."


ASME Fellow(s)


The Fellow Grade is the highest elected grade of membership within ASME, the attainment of which recognizes exceptional engineering achievements and contributions to the engineering profession.
  • Did you know that one of the nicest things you can do for your colleagues who are active members of ASME is to honor them by nominating them for the ASME Fellow Grade? Are you an ASME Fellow and would like to nominate someone for it? It's easy! The basic requirement is a minimun of 10 years of active service to ASME.
