Direct
Thermal Power Conversion & Thermal Management Committee
2004-2005
Concerned
with direct thermal energy conversion to electricity
without moving parts. Thermionic technology can provide
technically attractive solutions when developed for
space nuclear power requirements and terrestrial combinedcycle
power plants. Thermoelectric technology has found
use in terrestrial applications and prototypes for
space power needs. Thermal management deals with all
aspects of thermal management of energy systems.
