Call for Papers

ASME International

26th Computers and Information in Engineering (CIE) Conference

September 10-13, 2006

Philadelphia, PA

http://divisions.asme.org/cie/events/cie2006/cie2006cfp.html

The nascent CIE Technical Committee on Integrated Systems Engineering is soliciting papers on all aspects of systems engineering that include but are not limited to the following topics:

·   Integrated Systems Engineering within Engineering Organizations

·   Model-Based System Design

·   Systems Engineering Toolsets and Integration

·   Information Systems Security

·   Systems of Systems

·   Infrastructure Systems Engineering

·   Systems Engineering Formalisms (Requirements Specification, Configuration Management, Risk Management, Verification and Validation)

·   Space Systems Architectures

·   Case Studies in Systems Engineering

The Integrated Systems Engineering (ISE) Technical Committee is focused on the integration of systems engineering within engineering organizations and across technical disciplines.  ISE seeks to enable the interchange of knowledge, representations and information between toolsets used in systems engineering and other technical engineering areas and foster an effective interchange in the area of integrated systems engineering between industry, academic and government participants on an international basis.  The committee is working to provide a community context where theoretical approaches, concept demonstrations and effective applications of integrated systems engineering can be published and presented.

Submissions of papers will be directly via the conference web site. The title page must include the name, address, telephone number, and email address of the contact author, and the affiliation of all the authors.  All papers submitted will be reviewed for publication in CD-ROM proceedings and presentation at the CIE Conference.
