Internal Combustion
Engine Division of the American Society
of Mechanical Engineers has been promoting the art and science
of mechanical engineering of engines, encouraging and fostering
research and development for mobile, marine, rail, generation
and stationary applications and summarizing and publishing
reliable data concerning these pursuits since 1921.
The ICE Division is one of 37 technical divisions and institutes
of the ASME. The Society was founded in 1880 and today is
one of the world's leading technical groups. In addition
to maintaining technical excellence, ASME is the vanguard
of progressive change. The Society looks after the professional
development and well-being of its member engineers and conducts
extensive programs to enable the engineering profession
to aid in the betterment of our lives.
