The underlying goal of the Internal Combustion Engine Division is to develop its members. You will find ICE activities to be of tremendous help in making valuable contacts and staying abreast of new developments in the internal combustion engine industry.

As an ICE member, you automatically receive the division newsletter. You will also be included in all mailings to members who have an interest in Internal Combustion Engines(e.g., a "Call for Papers," specific conference announcements, etc.).

The ASME and the ICE Division offer many benefits and opportunities including :
  • Access to a major international forum and technical meetings covering all aspects of IC Engines
  • Opportunities to present technical papers at meetings and organize technical sessions in your areas of interest
  • Opportunities to become involved with the ICE Division technical committees as an Associate Member
  • Opportunities to strengthen your professional standing and interact with industry leaders
Joining is simple!
If you are not an ASME member and would like to join the Society, Click here for information on membership benefits and an on-line application form. When filling out the membership application form, make sure to indicate "Internal Combustion Engine Division" as your first choice for Technical Division interest.

ASME Fellow(s)

The Fellow Grade is the highest elected grade of membership within ASME, the attainment of which recognizes exceptional engineering achievements and contributions to the engineering profession.
  • Did you know that one of the nicest things you can do for your colleagues who are active members of ASME is to honor them by nominating them for the ASME Fellow Grade? Are you an ASME Fellow and would like to nominate someone for it? It's easy! The basic requirement is a minimun of 10 years of active service to ASME.
