The
underlying goal of the Power Division
is to develop its members. You will find the Power
Division activities to be of tremendous help in making valuable
contacts and staying abreast of new developments in the
power industry.
As Power Division member, you are entitled to a number of
benefits. Each member receives a subscription to Mechanical
Engineering Magazine (ASME's monthly magazine)
and ASME
News. In addition, you will receive reduced
rates to technical meetings and conferences, discounts on
ASME transactions, journals and proceedings and the technical
fellowship of over 100,000 mechanical engineers. Membership
in ASME also offers the privilege of using the world's largest
engineering library at the United Engineering Center the ASME
headquarters in New York.
As a Power
Division
member, you automatically receive the division
newsletter. You will also be included in all
mailings to members who have an interest in Power
(e.g., a
"Call for Papers," specific conference announcements, etc.).
Your technical and professional growth are dependent on keeping
with industry trends and staying technically current. Membership
in the Power Division is a valuable tool in advancing your
career and your company.

Fellow(s)
The Fellow Grade is the highest elected grade
of membership within ASME, the attainment of which recognizes
exceptional engineering achievements and contributions to
the engineering profession.

your colleagues who are active members of ASME is to honor
them by nominating them for the ASME Fellow Grade? Are
you an ASME Fellow and would like to nominate someone
for it? It's easy! The basic requirement is a minimun
of 10 years of active service to ASME.
