Group Mission
The mission of the ASME Systems and Design Groups is to:

  • Foster Divisions' abilities to serve all of our members (customers) well
  • Provide a process to foster interdivisional synergy
  • Provide ASME membership with an integrated view of the involved technical disciplines and their relevance
  • Define and support process to enable widespread utilization of new/classical technologies and approaches
  • Identify "emerging" technologies and common research needs
  • Provide a "spawning" ground for new entrepreneurial initiative
