PAST CONFERENCES

Student Safety Engineering Design Contest
ASME's Safety Engineering and Risk Analysis Division (SERAD) and the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) sponsor an Annual Student Paper Contest. This contest promotes safety engineering as a field of study and encourages students to consider safety engineering as a career option. Recent entries included studies related to the fishing, agriculture, mining and chemical industries.

In addition to SERAD and NIOSH, funding for this contest is provided by FM Global, Glasgow Products, American Hazard Control Consultants and Roger Harvey, P.E., P.C.

Students and advisors interested in participating in the 2010 Contest are urged to contact:
